Frodo & Bilbo are doing well and have been enjoying the spring sunshine in North Devon recently. They are such good friends, doing everything together and here they are getting in the mood for a little bodyboarding with a quick practice on dry land first. Could they be the first bodyboarding lambs seen on Croyde beach?!

Putsborough Beach in the Winter Sunshine

Devon bathed in sunshine but low, low temperatures
We’ve been enjoying truly fabulous wintry weather this week with freezing temperatures and blue, blue skies. Just wonderful to walk on the beach – Putsborough in this case – wrapped up warm and blow away the cobwebs. Returning home to a cosy fire, a welcome hot chocolate and some family games – Charades is always a favourite.
The views around the coastline are absolutely stunning, on a clear day we can see right across the Channel to Wales!

Young female seal

Young female grey seal, thought to be one of several released from Combe Martin in August 2011 after being reared in a sanctuary.  She was so tame she kept swimming up to us.
