Our holiday cottages near Ilfracombe at Widmouth Farm are where you are free to roam 35 acres of National Heritage
coastland. Stories abound of brandy smugglers and pirate ships hiding in the bay and caves. The television dramatisation of Enid Blyton's 'Five on a Treasure Island' was filmed on our private beach in 1996.
The cottages have been tastefully converted from a round barn (which housed a 'jenny ring'), stone barns and workers cottages circa.1800. Quality in Tourism inspects the premises annually and has awarded us the Visit Britain 3 Star Grading as we maintain very high standards of cleanliness and comfort. In Spring 2008 six cottages were given new kitchens!

WiFi (Broadband wireless signal) is available in all cottages allowing you to access the internet, send and receive e-mails and use Skype for telephone calls! However,
there is a very weak mobile phone signal here (virtually non existent), so we have a pay phone situated in a traditional 'Red Phone Box' in our courtyard, to the side of Swallow Cottage. This is for outgoing calls only.
