LOCATION: On the A399, halfway between Ilfracombe and Combe Martin on the North Devon coast. There is a 'hanging sign' (like a pub sign) at the top of our driveway, which is on the seaward side of the road.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE M5 MOTORWAY: Leave at Junction 27 and follow the A361 North Devon link road towards Barnstaple. You will come to the North Aller Roundabout (just North of South Molton town) where you take the 3rd exit (effectively turning right) towards Combe Martin on the A399. When you leave Combe Martin you will pass (and ignore) two signs for Berrynarbor, then you will pass Watermouth Cove on your right and Watermouth Castle on your left. We are about half a mile further on, on the right. There is a 'hanging sign' (like a pub sign) at the top of our driveway.

DIRECTIONS FROM BARNSTAPLE: Follow the signs to the ND District Hospital and go past the hospital and take the next left on the B3230 which takes you through the villages of Milltown and Muddiford. Continue on the road (ignoring signs for Ilfracombe Town Centre) until you reach a set of traffic lights at a T junction. Turn right towards Hele Bay (pronounced Heel Bay) and Combe Martin. Drive through Hele Bay, up the hill past the Golf Club on your right, then the Coastguards cottages on your left. We are about quarter of a mile further on, on the left, and there is a painted plough and a hanging sign at the top of our driveway.
